Chicken Madhbi: A Crispy & Smoky Delight loved by locals in Abu Dhabi

Madhbi is a dish that first originated in Oman, and is a significant part of Yemeni cuisine. While it’s not as popular as mandi, which also originated from Yemeni culture, Chicken madhbi in Abu Dhabi is a local favorite. Madhbi in the Arabic language means “grilled by the sun”, which is about how cuts of meat, usually lamb or chicken, is cooked or grilled over hot stones under burning wood or charcoal.  The way how the meat is prepared is quite different compared to mandi and it is relatively simple.
